UPDATE ON ANNUAL FALL COLOR BOAT CRUISE FOR SATURDAY, OCT. 28TH: See you at the Marina in the park before 1 P.M. today! We are planning to go ahead with the boat ride. The rain is to clear by late morning. Temperature to be around 50 degrees. The wind is expected to be about 5 to 10 miles per hour. Be sure to bundle up well in warm layers, bring a coat and a blanket if you are the chilly type.. We are looking forward to a fun outing. ------------------------------------- Celebrate the beauty of fall on Center Hill Lake as you take a leisurely 2 to 2½ hour afternoon pontoon boat excursion from the marina at Edgar Evins State Park. You will see stately lake homes, fall scenery and local landmarks like the old potato cave. Waterfowl and deer are often spotted too so be sure to bring your cameras. Children must be over age 3 and accompanied by an adult for safety reasons. The cost is $15 per person, Visa or Master Card accepted. Registration will be online from October 1st to October 27th as long as there are seats.

Individuals without reservations may check at the registration table in front of the marina at 1:00 p.m. the day of the event to see if there are any empty seats . If there are empty seats they may purchase them for $15 cash.
This is the fifteenth year of this annual fundraiser by the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park, an all volunteer organization with the sole purpose of helping the park. Monies raised will be used to enhance the park and its activities. From I-40 take exit 268 at State Highway 96 and Center Hill Lake. Once in the park follow the signs to the marina. The marina is privately owned but generously supplies boats for the event. The restaurant at the marina is closed until spring.
