Ride a school bus to visit Burgess Falls, Cummins Falls and Fall Creek Falls, eat lunch at Golden Corral in Cookeville. Meet at the covered shelters at 8 A.M. Plan to return about 4 P.M. The cost is $15 per person plus your lunch.
To reserve your seat go to the park's website at https://reserve.tnstateparks.com/register/annual-waterfall-tour-fundraiser-2020 beginning Feb. 1st. Wear sensible shoes for short walks on uneven ground, bring a walking stick or cane if you need added stability. Also, bring a jacket or coat for changes in weather.
This year will be the first time to meet at the covered shelters off the Marina parking lot instead of the office. Just follow signs toward the Marina and the shelters will be on your right. Parking will be easier and there still will be restroom facilities.
