HELP WANTED
Would you like to know how you can best help out the Friends of Edgar Evins? Here are a few things you could consider:

- ACTORS and ACTRESSES for History Hayride in October. Some experience helpful.
- ARTISTS/PAINTERS for various projects throughout the year
- BAKERS AND COOKS make cookies or tasty dishes for various functions
- BOAT DRIVERS - Must have experience with pontoon boats
- COSTUME MAKERS, SEAMSTRESSES - Design and make costumes for History Hayride and other events
- CRAFTERS/CRAFTSMEN throughout the year
- FACE PAINTERS - We'll furnish paint, brushes and optional stencils
- GRANT WRITERS, some experience or training is a plus but inexperienced persons willing to learn will also be welcome
- INVASIVE PLANT SPECIES REMOVERS. Help eliminate invasive plants that threaten the beauty of the park. Training available. If you can do yard work you can do this.
- MUSICIANS AND OTHER ENTERTAINERS are needed throughout the year for various events
- "NUTS AND BOLTS" PEOPLE, Help on the day of the event. - Can choose one event or more. (You may earn free membership in Friends of Edgar Evins State Park with as little as 1 day of service at a major event
- PHOTOGRAPHERS for events, and nature in the park
- STORY TELLERS for various events throughout the year
- TRAIL WORKERS. Helping with trail building, trail maintenance at the park . No experience necessary, we will train. If you are able to do yard work you can do this.
- EVENT ORGANIZERS, experience helpful
- PUBLICITY REPORTERS, experience helpful but we will train good writers
IF YOU DON'T SEE ANYTHING HERE THAT YOU CAN DO OR THAT APPEALS TO YOU JUST LET US KNOW. WE WILL FIND SOMETHING FOR YOU. Volunteers are always welcome!
