NEW UPDATE ON FALL COLOR BOAT CRUISE FOR OCT. 26TH ... We're sorry to announce we are going to have to cancel this year's Fall Color Boat Cruise by the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park due to continuing forecasts of rain. It will not be rescheduled but we hope you will try again next year.  Everyone will receive a refund to their credit card. Please allow up to 1 month before you see a credit from 123signup for your tickets.

If you are free during the week you might wish to reserve a seat on one of the Ranger's Boat Rides in November on the Edgar Evins State Park website under Upcoming Events. Go to: https://tnstateparks.com/parks/events/edgar-evins/

Celebrate the beauty of Center Hill Lake as you take a leisurely 2 to 2½ hour Saturday afternoon pontoon boat excursion from the marina at Edgar Evins State Park. You will see stately lake homes,  features like the dam and the old potato cave, possibly waterfowl, deer and other wildlife. Children must be over age 3 and accompanied by an adult for safety reasons. The cost is $15 per person, Visa or Master Card accepted. Registration will be online from October 1st to October 25th as long as there are seats.

CLICK THE BLUE URL TO GO TO A SECURE SITE FOR RESERVATIONS
 https://www.123signup.com/register?id=rsprp

If you need help please call the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park at (615) 765-5357.

Individuals without reservations may check at the registration table in front of the marina at 12:30 p.m. the day of the event to see if there are any empty seats . If there are empty seats they may purchase them for $15 cash.

This is the seventeenth year of this annual fundraiser by the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park, an all volunteer organization with the sole purpose of helping the park. Monies raised will be used to enhance the park and its activities. To find out more about the group look for Friends of Edgar Evins State Park on Facebook (Friends of EESP) or our wbsite at www.foeesp.com

From I-40 take exit 268 at State Highway 96 and Center Hill Lake. Once in the park follow the signs to the marina. The marina is privately owned but generously supplies boats for the event. The restaurant at the marina is closed until spring.

Those wishing to make this an overnight or weekend outing may inquire about camping and cabins by phoning the park office or make online overnight reservations at http://tnstateparks.com/parks/about/edgar-evins

There are other activities at the park that date, including Halloween Trunk 'N Treat and a foot race.  You might wish to combine the boat ride with the other events.

We wish to thank Edgar Evins Marina for loaning boats for the event.
