We can't promise snow every year but we can promise a healthy, happy, fun time!
Jan. 1 – Annual New Year’s Day 1st Hike, 10 A.M., Edgar Evins State Park.
(This year we will not hold a Feast after the hike due to Covid-19.)
It has been said that whatever you do on the first day of the year, you will continue to do for the rest of the year... So start the year off right with a 2 1/2 mile easy to moderate hike with a Park Ranger through the tranquil woods at Edgar Evins State Park.
Meet in the marina parking lot, next to the picnic shelters, at 10 A.M. Parking is limited at the trail head so we will car pool from the marina parking lot to the trailhead after a head count and the taking of group pictures.
Those who wish to hike more may opt to do the 2 mile Highland Rim Nature Trail, also moderate, on their own or with some of the other hikers after the guided hike.
